I agree- Twitter needs to be careful how they monetize the site, but I think that's what's taking them so long to do it.

I think Twittads is a great idea, since it only takes up the background of your profile, but I don't know how I'll feel about it if it ends up taking over Twitter.

I knew the day would come, and rightfully so. Twitter is an amazing advertising platform, and companies should definitely take advantage of it - but in a tasteful manner.

Twitters crowd I find is more of the web savvy nature, who are ad blind for the most part, so if Twitter every brings anything in house, they better do it right!

I'm going to take a peak a Twittads though, it looks interesting!

Hi Elijah, thanks for stopping by! I haven't posted since this post because I'm still working on that site. That, and another huge project sprung up, and that one actually has a deadline. Hopefully I'll be back and posting more often soon.

And thanks for the info on the deep indexing- I never knew what that meant. I guess that means I'm doing a good thing, huh? :)

I went through the exact same process with a BANs site of mine... It took me three weeks just to sort out the category matrix, and naming the cats and sub-cats based on my keyword research in Wordtracker...

What a mess... but the end result was well worth the wait. Having sub-cats and sub-sub-cats invites Google to do deep indexing, and that is the stuff longevity is made out of regarding organic traffic...

I'm looking forward to hearing some more as you go along...
